The Council agreed at the June 7 meeting to review the licensing and inspection fees for apartment dwellings, businesses and single-family rentals. The issue was raised that the fees should be increased. The current rates are comparable with neighboring towns.
This matter will be discussed at the next Work Session Meeting, scheduled for Monday, June 18, 2007, @ 8:00 p.m. I strongly urge you to attend and voice your opinions. Unless we hear the views of the residents and business owners the council will not be aware of the impact that the increased fees will have on us "the renters."
